Lead North America Seed At Nutrien Ag Solutions
Job Description
Nutrien Ag Solutions is hiring a Lead, North America Seed to strategically direct and grow our seed business across North America. This senior leadership role owns the full seed P&L, drives supplier partnerships, manages proprietary brands like Dyna-Gro® and Proven® Seed, and champions innovation in breeding, R&D, and commercial execution.
The position is remote-first but requires travel. Candidates within 50 miles of corporate offices (Loveland, CO; Deerfield, IL; Saskatoon, SK; Calgary, AB; Champaign, IL; Tolono, IL) will be expected to work on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Financial Leadership
- Full ownership of North American seed business P&L
- Drive crop-specific strategies across Corn, Soybean, Cotton, and Canola
- Collaborate with Breeding, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
Supplier & Brand Management
- Lead strategic seed supplier negotiations
- Optimize margins, rebates, and working capital
- Direct ownership of Dyna-Gro® and Proven® Seed branding and positioning
R&D and Breeding Innovation
- Lead breeding programs across canola, cotton, rice, wheat, and proprietary crops
- Advance genetic gain and promote adoption of molecular breeding tools
Sales Enablement & Commercial Execution
- Align regional seed managers and field teams on integrated sales strategies
- Manage Marketing, Agronomy, and Selling Excellence (MASE) initiatives
- Deliver budget-aligned production plans to grow market share
Leadership & People Development
- Build and lead a high-performance seed organization
- Create annual business and development plans across divisions
- Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and execution

Salary Range: $177600 - $329700 per month
